HP Elitebook 640 G9
Until recently I was running two monitors. The first is connected to my built in HDMI port, and the other has been running through a USB-C hub. Up until a couple days ago, I was running trouble-free. I ran some updates and the display connected to my USB-C hub hasn’t been functioning since. Yesterday I was upgraded to windows 11 and figured that may solve whatever issue there was but no such luck.
My system is saying my copy of windows isn’t activated. Any way that has something to do with my issue? When I plug in my USB-C hub now, I get a message; “Display connection might be limited”. I have tried with multiple hubs and receive the same message.
The port still functions for USB sticks, printer attachment etc. Just doesnt outpot video anymore

I suggest installing the chipset drivers that are at the software and driver download web page for your laptop.
That may resolve the issue
Here is a link to the HP software and driver download web page for your laptop. CHoose the Windows 11 operating system

I suggest using the Chrome browser. Firefox browser runs into issues with the HP software and driver download web page.
