Spectre x360 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can no longer plug in and charge my phone or use my usb hub, as it doesn't transfer power. It recongnizes that there is a dievice plugged in, but it only trnasfers data between the devices. The issue is only with the 2 USB C ports on the laptop, which is a 2018 HP Spectre x360 15.

Run diagnostics. Power off then power on immediately tap esc then F2 component test and usb ports. You will need a thumb drive and USB-C to USB or a USB-C device to plug in as it tests each port. If you get an error code this becomes a warranty issue assuming you are still under warranty.
