Hi,
FRU remove/replace: applies to your model series
https://h20574.www2.hp.com/results.htm?SID=10862149&MEID=D7B5C081-5765-4953-A5BD-20BD30A5E216
Manual: applies to your model series
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05147552
You can replace 2.5 HDD with 2.5 inch SATA SSD
Please create HP Recovery USB using HP Recovery Manager before upgrade.
The brand I use is Samsung 850 EVO SSD.
Capacity to buy: at least 250gb so that HP recovery USB would successfully help in factory reset after replacement
Specs: http://support.hp.com/za-en/document/c05313919
Alternately you can clone HDD system partitions to SSD before upgrade or clean install Windows 10 Home 64 bit after replacement.
