Hi I have a laptop probook 4540s I have a Samsung ram card 4gb/ddr3/2R*8 pc3-12800s-11-11-F3 I want to upgrade to 8 GB I bought a used RAM brand MICRON This information is written on it 4gb/2r*8/ pc3L-12800S-11-11-FP ......
But when I added it to the computer, a blue screen appears intermittently, then the computer turns off and starts working again with the same screen. When I removed it and left the Samsung chip alone, the computer started working. After that, I removed the Samsung and turned on the Micron. The computer does not want to work. I also cleaned it and cleaned the ports and changed the ports to no avail. I upgraded the BIOS version to no avail. Thank you Very much

As you can see, it does NOT work with other brand NOT Samsung, why NOT buy Samsung RAM.
My story: I bought Crucial RAM for my machine, Crucial said fully guarantee but it đid not work, I had to use HP part # (actually Samsung) to buy from Amazon and bingo.
Regards.
