I need to know which ram to purchase to upgrade the ram in my notebook, I need to boost the speed and reliability for now until I can get a new one

According to: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257.pdf, your HP Notebook - 15-Bs212wm can be fitted with up to 2 x 8GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks (unless your laptop is fitted with just one (1) RAM slot, then 1 x 8GB is your max RAM):

Here is an Amazon purchase example for a quality 2 x 8GB RAM kit: Timetec 16GB KIT(2x8GB) DDR4 2400MHz PC4-19200 Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL17 1Rx8 Single Rank 260 Pin....
