Product: HP ENVY Notebook 17-n008nl

I have a hp envy 17-n0008nl and i want to upgrade the hdd to the ssd, can somebody tell me which ssd this model supports? I was thinking about buying the crucial MX500 but i don't know if it's compatible.

Hi:

 

Yes, you should be able to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

 

Any brand SSD should work including the Crucial MX 500.

 

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure:
