See p. 4-7 of the manual for "how-to":
Very easy upgrade. You will need Blu-Ray player software. Windows Media Player will not play Blu-Ray disks and Power DVD and other media suites generally need a paid Blu-Ray plugin. VLC media player can be configured free to play Blu-Rays. If your screen is 1366 x 768 you will not really see a difference between Blu-Ray and DVD movies.
