I am thinking of upgrading my memory and storage.

The storage currently is a 256 SSD in M2 format.  So I would think there is an unused 2.5 Sata drive bay.  Thinking that I good procure a drive and install in this bay unless there is another M2 slot.

The memory currently has a 4 stick and 8 stick.  Does this mother board support 16 or 32?

Thank you,

Its specs

1. For RAM: It supports 16GB max. You can use

2. For 2.5" HDD/SSD

You can add 2.5" HDD/SSD to your machine but you need more part as mentioned on page 44 of the following manual

Thank you for the response.

You seem to be saying that I can add a drive to replace the CD player.  While this is possible, I can not remember the last time I used it,  since the OEM setup was with a SSD in M2 format there should be an empty internal bay where a HDD would have been.  Can not this be used to place another SSD or HDD in the empty place?

I chatted with HP Tech Support and they are saying that there are 2 M.2 ports.  This would be the best way to add storage.
