Product: HP 255 G8 Notebook PC (347S5AV)

Hi

 

I'd like two M.2 SSD internal drive in my G8 255 Notebook.

There doesn't exist a direct way to connect the second one, but I've seen some tutorial that show how to plug a second SATA SSD internal drive. It works with a special connector, to be bought spare, which allows to adapt the SATA socket to an internal socket (I don't know what's its name... but the code number is L20456-001 L20454-001).

 

Is there any other special connector, to plug in the second SSD M.2 to the G8 255 mainboard ?

No other choice. You need 2 more parts as mentioned on page 30 of the manual

 

  • Hard drive board part # L52024-001
  • Hard drive cable part # L52025-001
