HP ENVY x360 - 15-ar052na (ENERGY STAR)

My laptop is becoming increasingly slow and I've had it for about 6 months.

I've come here to ask someone to please help me find out if my laptop is uprgadable. I wanted to upgrade my RAM and CPU (i think). Can this be done? If this is possible, Id appreciate it so much if you could also give me some advice on what I need to look at before I upgrade and if there is anything else that needs to be installed with this.

Thanks,

Hurayra

You can upgrade HDD to 2.5 inch SATA SSD, which will give you a great boost in performance.

8gb RAM is more than enough for daily works and even gaming.

CPU cannot be upgraded as it is soldered on to the motherboard.

Hi Visruth,

Thanks so much for helping me.

One more thing. I already have a 128GB SSD on my laptop with an additional 1TB HDD. Windows is saved on the SSD. I save most of my applications and documents on the HDD to try and save space on the SSD (applications that i mainly use are saved on SSD e.g google chrome). Will more memory do much since i already got an SSD? and by changing the HDD to SSD, would that make much difference?

Thanks again,

Hurayra

Changing HDD to SSD should make a appreciable difference but not memory upgrade
