Hello
I want to upgrade my hardware and i want to know
How much ram my laptop will support with how much clock.

OK thanks. You have an HP ENVY dv6t-7200 CTO (Configured to Order) which means there are no specs to look up.
But none the less, you can only upgrade the Ram and Hard Drive.
The total amount of memory the manual shows can be installed is 16GB (2x8GB sticks) of DDR3 1600.
If you have 8 already and want to only add another 8GB, you need to match the timings of the existing stick for compatability.
Crucial for example sells ram that they guarantee to work or your money back.

You can also install a larger capacity HDD or a 2.5 inch Sata SSD.
