Hi everyone,
I'm planning to upgrade the cpu of my old laptop, so I have been checking out the Maintenance and service manual and I've noticed that I can put a core i7-2640M in it. But I don't know if that processor is limited to only the intel models of this series or if that it can be replaced on any model..... the question here is:
Can I replace my AMD A6-3420M with the Intel core i7-2640M?
Thanks in advance 😄 ❤️

No, you can't put Intel CPU on AMD motherboards and vise versa on both desktops and laptops/notebooks. Intel and AMD do not use same number of pins and other hardware parts.
