Hi,

I am writing from Turkey. I've been scammed by an unauthorized service center impersonating HP Official Support. I found their number (Edited) online, thinking it was HP's official line. They sent me a shipping code, and I sent my laptop for warranty repair.

Now, they are demanding 1,750 TRY as an "inspection fee" and refused to return my laptop unless I pay. My official warranty is expiring in just 4 days. I am extremely stressed and my device is currently being held "hostage" by these scammers.

I have all the system information (Serial Number, Product ID) and evidence of their fraudulent messages.

I need urgent help to:

  1. Log this incident against my serial number.

  2. Freeze or extend my warranty since I cannot access my device due to this fraud.

  3. Get guidance on how to recover my device and send it to a LEGITIMATE HP service.
