@Mjoe1990

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand the USB ports aren't working,

No worries as I'd love to help, however, I need a few more details to provide an accurate solution:

Did you attempt to reinstall the USB root hub/drivers?

If it had been working previously, did you try the system restore?

Meanwhile, I have a list of steps to help resolve your concern:

  • Before you begin
  • Troubleshooting steps
  • USB device not detected by Windows (no device name in Device Manager)
  • USB storage device is not shown in Safely Remove Hardware window
  • Front USB ports do not work on a desktop computer.
  • The mouse responds slowly, if at all
  •  USB 2.0 Device Does Not Work When Connected to a USB 3.0 Port

For details on each step: Click here

If I have helped you resolve the issue, feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below,

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum.  Have a great day!
