Probook 450 G6

I have a question:

I have a Probook 450 G6 with a 256GB M.2 pcie storage, and when i opened my pc to upgrade my ram, i noticed a loose Sata cable taped to the chassis with space for a SSD.

Does this mean i can use my current M.2 SSD as boot and game storage, and put in another Sata SSD for normal storage?

That is exactly what it means. Technically you should also get this:

 

Hard drive bracket (not illustrated; used to add a hard drive to models with a solid-state drive
as primary storage)
L45781-001

 

But the bracket is not absolutely needed, particularly if you decide to use a SATA 2.5 inch SSD.

 

You can alter something generic like this to fit:

 

https://www.amazon.de/Generic-Festplatte-Schiene-Schrauben-Schienen/dp/B01D4OTEBY/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?_...
