Greetings,

The battery of my device shows as 100% charged, but when I try to turn it on using only the battery, it does not power on. It only turns on with the AC adapter connected.

I have not received any system alerts regarding the battery. The HP Assistant test shows it as being in good condition, and the UEFI test indicates the status as "OK". I reset the BIOS using Windows+B, but it still shows 100%, yet it does not power the device.

That sounds like a power distribution circuit issue with the system board.

Have you run the complete system test?

Thank you very much for your attention.
I have performed the tests on both Windows and UEFI, and the only mention it makes is a warning regarding the battery, indicating that the test cannot be carried out because the AC adapter is connected.

Without the AC adapter, the device cannot function.

I thank you in advance for all your support

The test results are not always correct.

Consider that the system result told you everything is fine, but you know that is not true, since ithe battery won't power the laptop on its own.

You can try replacing the battery with a new one. That would be the least expensive thing to try. I used the HP PartSurfer to see which battery is in your laptop.

Well, there's no other option but to replace the battery, hope that’s the issue, and that it's nothing more serious.

Once again, I appreciate your support and your time.
