Hi there, I have a 512 Gb Victus 16.1 laptop. Does the mobo have a second open PCIe slot I could slot a secondary NVMe drive into?

You're very welcome.
You have a HP Victus 16-s0000 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC.
The notebook only has one M.2 slot for a SSD, so if you want more storage, you will need to remove the 512 GB NVMe SSD and replace it with one having a greater storage capacity.
The information in the service manual is bit contradictory.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
Chapter 1 indicates one M.2 SSD is supported.
But if you look at chapter 5, page 41, it it has an illustration of the motherboard with two NVMe SSD locations.
However, if you look at the service teardown video, it clearly shows that there is no M.2 SSD on the left side of the notebook as shown in the service manual.

You get a good view of that if you watch the procedure on how to remove the system fans.
