Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I am planning to add a new SSD card, so I would like a clarification regarding the supported PCIe SSD slots for my HP Victus laptop.

The built-in SSD card is Gen 4 and installed on the slot labeled with "SSD2" and "Gen 4".

The other slot, however, does not mention the gen supported (only labeled "SSD1"), and from the service manual it is unclear if both SSD slots support PCIe 4.0 or only one of them while the other is PCIe 3.0.

Please advise. Thank you.
