A Windows "upgrade" presumes that the OS version is changed with the drivers, settings, apps, and personal data carried over.
There is no "upgrade path" from Vista to Windows 10 -- so basically, this can not be done.
You could, of course, buy Windows 10 on your own but there will not be HP drivers for Win10 for your laptop, so forcing such an installation is a bad idea.
If you really want Windows 10 on a laptop, it's time to buy a new one.
