I have a HP 15 p204 tx notebook, it doesn't come with a backlit keyboard, can it be upgraded to backlit keyboard, also can it be upgraded to ssd from its current Hard disk drive??

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have1 TB 5400 rpm SATA installed on the PC. And your computer does not support backlight keyboard.
And computer supports 6.35 cm (2.5 in) hard drives in 9.5 mm (.37 in) and 7.0 mm (.28 in) thicknesses (all hard drives use the same bracket) Refer to the : http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04511833 2 Chapter 1 Product description.

Thank you for posting back.
Your computer shipped with Full-size textured island-style with numeric keypad and your computer is not compatible with backlit keyboard.
