Pavilion x360 convertible

I upgraded my HP Pavilion x360 cd0077 RAM 2 years when I bought it. I upgraded it myself and there are none of the problems I faced till last month. Now I have an issue with the Wireless adapter. I claimed for warranty since I have an HP care pack active. But the online support executive said my warranty is void since I opened the laptop myself. How can I claim my warranty?

How can they say the problem raised because of the upgrade done by self  2years ago?
