Hello,

 

My laptop is broken, the local support center has analyzed that there is corrosion on the board. Then It is hardware defect, the warranty is valid until Apr 2021, why  local support said HP void the warranty. Warranty type is HP HW Maintenance Offsite Support.

This is frustating, anyone know what is covered on this warranty type ?

HP Recommended

Corrosion would be an indication of excessive moisture or water incursion. If you got the laptop wet then that would void the warranty.
