Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My camera is not working and is displaying the  0Ax00F4244 error. Also there is no such thing as "Imaging Devices" in my Device manager. I tried adding it manually but it did not work out. The camera was working fine for the last few days and this is a sudden development.

I have tried all the usual techniques of reset,update drivers and stuff suggested in answers in this communtiy. None of the solutions are working.

Moreover i tried the Fn+F6 key thing solution, pretty popular solution of this issue but that didn't work either.

Also when i go in device manager, under camera>HP wide vision camera it says in the description as "USB Video Device".

Please help me. I can't work from home.

@BadExperience
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
