Chromebook x 360n
Chrome OS

The webcam on my Chromebook x 360n (model 14c-ca0002nd) does not work anymore. I can start it, but the screen stays black. I tried in different apps, with the same result.

When I start the camera the Led lights up in orange. 

A few days ago we had a online session of about 6 hours and it worked perfectly fine.

I re-started the chromebook, resetted it and powerwashed it. It still does not work.

Any ideas how I can get it back to work?

Since the issue persists after Power Wash I suggest you contact HP Support in your region for service options

 


1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
