I can't connect the Bluetooth to my phone on this HP Chromebook 11-v 010 plus I like to know if I can add RAM to this what would be a good option and how do I upgrade the operating system

Unfortunately, no—the RAM is soldered to the motherboard in this model, which means it cannot be upgraded. The HP Chromebook 11-v010nr comes with 2GB or 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, depending on the variant.

If your Chromebook isn’t connecting to your phone via Bluetooth, try these steps:

Basic Troubleshooting

  • Restart your Chromebook and your phone.
  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth and ensure it’s turned on.
  • Make sure your phone is discoverable and not already connected to another device.
  • Try forgetting the device and reconnecting.


Reset Bluetooth Settings

  • Open Chrome browser.
  • Press Ctrl + Alt + T to open Crosh (Chrome Shell).
  • Type: bluetooth → press Enter.
  • Then type: reset → press Enter.


Update Chrome OS

  • Go to Settings > About Chrome OS > Check for updates.
  • Install any available updates and restart.
