I wanted to buy a new charger but when I checked on HP's online store am getting a 65W charger. However, on my current charger its mentioned 45W. Would using a 65W have any impact on laptop? Also, what exactly is the difference between 45W and 65W? Please help.
My laptop came with OEM Windows 10 HOME, if that helps.

I could try for humor and say the difference is 20 watts but its not that funny. You can definitely use the 65W charger. The brick will be a little larger and heavier and it will charge your battery a bit faster. The plug and the voltage are the same so it works with your laptop fine. Other models in the same series with dedicated graphics used a 65W adapter so it is available and apparently all HP has for sale in the Store. We could find you a 45W adapter at an online 3rd party store if you wish.

Is there a reputable retailer you can recommend to get 45w chargers? I'm interested in a replacement for my original charger (with a cable), but I am also looking to get a duckhead or travel 45w charger, if one exists.
