Hi,

No M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD support for your model.

There is a M.2 2280 SSD (NGFF), SATA-3 slot, which can be made primary boot drive.

This would work: http://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-850-evo-m-2-500gb-mz-n5e50...

Thanks very much Visruth, that was very kind of you. However, I would just like to understand whether m.2 sata has a better performance over 2.5 ssd ?

Both are SATA, only form factor is different. I would go for M.2 SATA SSD and make it boot drive, and use factory set HDD as storage media.
