The max values are very high but physically the sizes are matters:
- for 2.5" HDD : up to 2TB, because more than that they are normally thicker, won't physically fit,
- similar for M.2 SSD, single sided 2280 M.2 SSD's are normally 2TB, I know some vendors now can squeeze 4TB to same physical size but to be safe, use 2TB
