Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there ! I do not know the maximum supported RAM memory for my laptop . It is HP 255 G7 6MR14EA with motherboard HP 84AC  Carrizo  FCH. Please help it has only 4GB DDR4 . If I could add some 8 GB DDR4 to became 12 GB it would be nice . If it helps the processor is AMD A4 9125 .

Hi:

 

Your notebook has one memory slot, and the max is 8 GB of memory in the slot.

 

You'll have to remove the 4 GB chip and replace it with an 8 GB chip.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.   Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.
