Pavilion 15-cb071nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi, I want to know what type of m2 slot does the HP pavilion 15-cb071nr has, because i am planning on buying one of those myself, and I know that the motherboard has a free m2 slot, and I dont want to buy a m2 ssd that wont fit into the laptop's m2 free slot.

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

As we can see on page 2 of the service manual your PC supports both M2 SATA3 or M2 PCIe NVMe SSD. You can use higher capacity than mentioned in the manual.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493193

On page 43 you can see the steps to upgrade SSD. I would also check that the slot is present on motherboard before buying the M2 SSD.

You can also look at these HP videos for your model (click on base enclosure and then on solid state drive in list on left)

Let me know if you need further help,

Couldnt watch the videos yet cause it says that some plugin is not supported in my phone, but i will watch them later on my computer.

Again, thank you so much

Your welcome Andres. Yes, the videos need flash plugin so you can view them on computer.

Let me know if you need any further help.

All the best,

David
