Hi:

The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded separately.

The only way to upgrade the processor would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of the notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.

The costs attendant to doing such an upgrade would most likely exceed the cost of the notebook.

When it comes to buying notebooks nowadays no matter what company makes them, always be sure you will be satisfied with the existing CPU and GPU because they can't be upgraded.

Thanks, but I just want to know what motherboard model it is. And also, you can buy a laptop i9 cpu on the intel website, which means you should be able to, I just don't know if it supports it.

You're very welcome.

HP provides no information regarding the motherboard models in their notebooks.  They never did.

Read the service manual...you will find no procedure on upgrading the processor...just replacing the motherboard.

You will find no processors listed in chapter 3 of the parts list.

You cannot upgrade the processor.

I don't know what else to tell you.
