I am looking to upgrade my ram to 16GB yet I don't know which RAM to buy. I know that there are different types of RAM and am unsure which my computer uses. Can anyone help? 

 

I have an HP ENVY x360 - 15m-ds0011dx laptop with a total of 8GB ram installed.

Hi:

 

The product specs for your notebook indicate that it comes with 2 x 4 GB of memory.

 

HP ENVY x360 - 15m-ds0011dx Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

 

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook.

 

Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | hp - compaq | envy 15 | ENVY x360 15m-ds0011dx | Crucial.com

 

You may want to consider replacing both 4 GB memory modules with 8 GB memory modules.

 

Either the 8 GB DDR4-2400 or DDR4-2666 MHz memory modules offered in the report should work just fine.

 

The ones with the green circuit boards.
