HP ZBook Fury 15.6 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC IDS Base Model

Hello all,

I have the HP Zbook Fury 15 G8. When i populate all 4 ram slots the speed goes down to 2933Mhz from 3200 Mhz. Is that normal? Also in geekbench i get better scores with only 2 rams slots populated when compared to 4 ram slots populated. Is there some setting i need to do to get 3200Mhz speed when using all 4 ram slots or is this a limitation of the motherboard. I contacted HP support in India and they have no clear answer for this. Hence i am reaching out here for any help on this issue.

Kind regards,

lovv Pran Mehta

Probably you do not use SAME RAM.  When running mixed RAM, machines normally scale down to get more stable state and that is normal.
