My laptop was old 2015 model , i replaced it with new battery yet the new battery has the same problem as the old one. it doesn't get charged. The laptop doesn't work on battery it directly works on AC adapter. i tried all the other troubleshooting method mentioned in this hp community. Hard Reset, BIOS , reboot, drained static current, Battery ACPI in device manager. nothing seems to be working.

Let me check your current system configuration.
(1) Run msinfo32
- Select <System Summary>:
--->>> Copy/paste following key/value pairs:
( equals HP product number (p/n) )

This is not good sign.
(1) Download and install from Microsoft Apps Store
(2) Run <HP Diagnostics for Windows>
- Perform <all> tests
- Focus on Components test (AC Adapter / Battery)
(3) Please report your results ( error messages, take pictures )
( if serial number, device id, UUID, System Board CT Number is displayed, please blur )
