I’m looking to buy a new charger for my laptop and am going round in circles trying to figure out what one to buy that is compatible (whether an HP charger or a cheaper version from Amazon would be fine). When I look on Amazon though I can’t find anything that says it’s compatible with my exact model. HP have been no help whatsoever!

model is

15 s-fq1510na

i believe it’s a Notebook

Enter your notebook's serial number in the search window at the link below and it should provide the power adapter part number and description:

 

HP PartSurfer

 

Chapter 3, page 21 of the maintenance and service guide has the two power adapter part numbers used in the model series, so you really just need to find out from the parts list if your notebook came with the 45W or 65W power adapter part number.

AC adapter (PFC, slim, 4.5 mm):
65 W     HP part # 913691-850
45 W     HP part # 741727-001

 

If in doubt, buy the 65W charger.
