My laptop is a HP ENVY Laptop 13-ba1008nx and I was wondering if I replace my 45w charger with 65w will increase performance, and slight note when running on battery I notice some performance increase so is this relevant or not and should I get a 65w charger ?

According to chapter 3 of the service manual, your notebook is supposed to be using one of the 65W chargers listed on page 30.

There is no listing for a 45W power adapter.
