Will a hard case for the HP chromebook x360 11 G1 EE fit the newer HP chromebook x360 11 G2 EE

We just purchased an HP Chromebook X360 11 G2 EE. There don't seem to be any colorful hard cases available. There are a couple available for the older HP Chromebook X360 11 G1 EE model, and I was wondering if they would fit.

Speaking in terms of pure dimensions-wise... maybe. While the length and width of the HP Chromebook x360 11 G1 EE and the HP Chromebook x360 11 G2 EE are identical, their height differ by 0.18cm, which isn't a whole lot at all but the case may not fit perfectly. (G2 is 0.18cm thicker)

To be frank, I never found much appeal from hard case covers. I prefer using sleeves/cases.

Anyway, if you're buying from Amazon, which usually has a flexible return policy, perhaps purchase it and return it after if it doesn't seem to work.
