15q-0009TU

Hi!

I just bought a new laptop... the product is HP 15 15q-ds0009TU . I want to install a m.2 SSD in the laptop.

1. Which type of SSD is supported? I know it is 2280 form, but which port, NVME or SATAIII?

2.If I install it myself in the laptop, will it void the warranty?

Also, can I get an authorised HP technician to install it for me? If so, how much will be the charge? (My laptop is 2 days old).

I could not find any manual/videos that showed the whole process. Any link to it will make my life easier... 🙂

Thanks...

Here is the user manual

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06147959. You can find it under user guide tab.

I have contacted Hp regarding ram and they told me they can install the ram if I buy it and give it to them or You can get the assisatance of some computer technician. But no problem with the warranty issue.

It support both nvme and sata III. If you are not under budget go for Samsung  970 evo. ,on budget go for samsung 860 evo or wd green.
