Will the drive bay in my laptop store a drive bigger than 1.8"?

HP Envy 15-k233ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my laptop's hdd to an ssd, and I found a few ssd's that were compagible, but bigger than my hdd, a 1.8". I asked around, and apparently the drive bay in my laptop could be removable (the barriers around the hard drive, I mean) or support something that's a bit bigger. I haven't been able to find an answer and I forgot to check for this when I took my laptop apart, and I don't want to do it again. Does anybody know if it's possible to get a 2.5" ssd in my laptop?

Hi,

Specs: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04544065

Your laptop came with 2.5 inch SATA 750gb HDD. I don't see any mention of 1.8 inch.

Manual: Page 2, 62, 63

Get another 2.5 inch SATA SSD.
