Hello Windows Hello facial recognition was not working so I proceed to uninstall the driver that was found on the bio metric section above the fingerprint one (I did not deleted it) and now when i scan for hardware changes it does not detects it, i have already restart the system 4 times, with restart option and also turn on/off manually, my decision was to reinstall the driver, but when i go to the Hp official page( https://support.hp.com/mx-es/drivers/selfservice/hp-spectre-13-aw0000-x360-convertible-pc-series/291...) , I did not find the driver I am missing, what can I do? Now it even says Windows hello Face is currently unavailable. I also uninstall and install the IR camera driver, this one detects it but still i can not use windows facial recognition.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the facial recognition. 

 

Please try updating your computer - 

 

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

 

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

 

Download and install the BIOS from this link.

Hello I reinstall and update the BIOS and run the troubleshooter and it didn't work, the camera is still not being recognized in the device manager panel, not even with refreshing the hardware, I am just missing that driver, the one of the windows hello facial recognition in the bio metrics section of device manager.

Please back-up the data and try re-installing the operating system - Using the Cloud Recovery
