HP ProBook 470 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Before updating with the May 2019 Windows update, do I really need to download the newest BIOS for my HP ProBook 470 G4?  I have BIOS version 01.06 from 6/8/17.  There is a newer BIOS version 1.29 on line, but it does not come up in my HP Support Assistant as a necessary download.  I am a little scared of downloading a new BIOS.  Why is it not coming up in my HP Support Assistant software?  As per advice on HP site, I downloaded the latest version of the HP Support Assistant software a few months ago. I have version 8.8.24.33, yet the download site now says that for my computer I should be downloading version 8.3.50.9; this seems strange? Did I download the wrong version?  It seems to work.
