Dear community

I was hoping this thread would finally help https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/USB-mouse-not-working/td-p/660..., however I do not have the update KB4074588 installed or it is within another package.

Problem: my wireless mouse (Cherry DW5100) is not working anymore, neither is the keyboard. Of course I tried the exercises like uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, using different ports, restart, etc., etc....

Here is the strange thing:

-The mouse/keyboard combo works fine on another laptop (not HP).

-on my laptop, the identical model of mouse/keyboard of a colleague does work fine

-on my laptop, also different models of wireless or wired mouses work fine

-MY mouse/keyboard combo DOES NOT work at the colleagues identical laptop

Can anyone explain this or find a solution for that?? I hope my descripotion above helps to identify the problem that must be present.

I am very thankful for a solution

BR
