OMEN by HP - 17-an190nr
Microsoft Windows 11

 Hello All,

I have an HP-17-an190nr and would like to upgrade the SSD and RAM,

Currently everything is stock:

2x8gb 2666 DDR4 RAM

256gb SSD

Before I buy any parts, I would like to know:

RAM: what is the maximum ram and speed... I.E. Can I put 2x32gb DDR4 3200? Or can it only handle 2666? etc.

SSD: it currently is an m.2 256... Can I put in a larger SSD? Faster speed? etc. I.E. I have a 1TB Rocket Q4 that the machine doesn't seem to like after cloning.

Thanks!

1. RAM: It has 16 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (2 x 8 GB) now. You can upgrade to 32GB (2 x 16GB) using compatible RAM such as

2, STORAGE: It has

  • 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
  • 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA

You can upgrade to 1TB or 2TB of M.2 NVMe SSD using standard drives such as
