hey, so i have an omen 17 and while its only the 9750H/1060ti version it does all i need an im not really looking to upgrade atm, it plays my games in 1080p and even in 4k for some, fine, HOWEVER, it is a bit old an has a few "small" issues id like to fix and keep it going for a while longer.
so issues are:
-all 3 USB slots are dead or dying i only have one working and it has to be played around with until the connection is made.
they seem to all have corrosion on them.
-the cooling is going i no longer can use the machine at full power and have to throttle it down to 2.0 ghz to play most games or it auto throttles to 800mhz itself, fans also need replacing as one sounds horrid and clunky, still works though.
-battery was bad on arrival and has only got less than 2 hrs on max power save just surfing net or at University lectures about 30 mins if i try a game.
-HDMI connector also does not fully connect an i get screen flickering and green lines on the 4k tv,
Basically my query is, is it worth fixing the issues or just looking into a new PC?
thanks in advance for responses.

I would replace it.
It has a few issues that will require parts replacements that mean added $$AUS investment.
The only fix for the display is replacing the display assembly. That is costly.
Bad USB ports means replacing the system board or the ports themselves, if you can find replacements and have the required skill or $$ to pay for their repair/replacement.
