I was thinking of upgrading my laptop(which has 8 Ram right now) to 16 Ram but, I don't know what type of Ram I need to buy and if my laptop can be upgraded to 16 Ram.

Yes it can be upgraded to 16 gb and even to 32 gb if you wanted to do that. Right now it has a single module of DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM and an upgrade to 16 gb would just mean adding another 8 gb module.
Start on p. 45 for "how to".
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Hi.
Can you confirm me that this model (Hp 15-bs101ns) can to upgrade up 32Gb?. I saw some page (https://www.mrmemory.co.uk/memory-ram-upgrades/hp/pavilion-notebook/15-bs101ns) that inform the limit is16Gb.
The original 8Gb RAM module is SPS: 862398. I wasn't neither found 16 Gb module to it.
Thank you very much.
