My motherboard went out and I had to replace it. Since i had it open i also instaled a SSD. After i got it all back up and working and got windows on the SSD, opening my lid does not wake my laptop from sleep mode anymore. I looked in the bios settings and in the device maneger, there is no option to enable this in either place. Anyone have something else to try?

I believe your machine runs Windows 10. That is the work of Windows, not BIOS. Please use the following instructions to setup

Your instructions are for whatwhat happens when the lid closes, that works like a charm. My issue is with what happens when the lid opens. All I have found says that this is either managed by the bios or the drivers. Neither of these have the option.
