Good Morning,
I would like to add an M2 SSD to my laptop to be the main disk for my pc for performance reason.
Product name:HP ENVY TS 15 Notebook PC
Product number:E7Z50UA#ABL
I would like to know if the M2 slot on the back of the laptop is SATA based or PCI-Express.
Thank you.

I think you could use a 1TB SSD but you would need to replace it with the drive you have installed now???

thank you.
I am asking of 1 TB because in the manual they put only 512GB SSD max on page 5, you think it should work also the 1TB
like: Samsung 850 Pro Series 1TB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-7KE1T0BW)
should work on my laptop?
MANUAL: page 5

● 500 GB, 5400 rpm, 7.0 mm

That you could say is the basic guidlines that they tested.
We have seen many go with larger HDD's than what is in the manual.
