In the Knowledgebase article at the hyperlink below I discuss that and provide a description of the use of a Windows utility called Battery-Report. Invoke the battery report and compare the factory design storage capacity to the current storage capacity. If there is a great disparity between the two, it means that the battery is nearing the end of its service life and should be replaced.
