my laptop battery is not giving backup. My laptop gets shut down even at 40% battery. My laptop is in extended warranty period. So, am I eligible for replacement of my battery by hp free of cost.

Battery warranty is one year from the date of the unit purchase. Request you to please contact HP and have it replaced under warranty terms and conditions.
