Spectre x360 convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I own a Spectre x360 convertible 13-ae0xx which I purchased in early 2018.  I use it primarily on my desk with a large monitor, moving it only occasionally.  It has never been dropped or mishandled.  Recently I noticed a gap has opened in the bottom panel at the front of the unit.  There is now a sizable gap through which I can see some small snaps that appear to hold it in place but I cannot get them to hook into the panel to secure it.  Not sure how to fix this and it seems to be getting worse.  Any ideas?

I am attaching a photo here.  Since I posted this, I opened the back panel and found that the battery appears to have "bulged" which has apparently push the case open.
